Berlin Spotlight Film Festival Rules:
1. All submitted films must include English subtitles.
2. By entering your film, you consent to the use of excerpts (including trailers, teasers, posters, and stills) for promotional activities.
3. Submissions must be original works created by the entrant, ensuring no infringement on copyrights or rights of third parties. Participants must confirm they have secured all necessary copyright permissions for music, sound, and images used in their films.
4. Entry fees are non-refundable, and no fee waivers will be granted.
5. Filmmakers may submit multiple entries, and each film can be considered in several categories.
6. We may promote select films by sharing trailers, teasers, posters, and production stills.
7. The festival organizers retain the right to withhold any or all prizes at their discretion.
Submissions will not be accepted for:
• Content that promotes extremist views or propaganda from religious or political groups.
• Films that engage with political themes or advocate for political agendas.
